As Pope Francis heads to Mozambique for his 31st Apostolic
Journey abroad, we remember some memorable moments from his previous visits to
countries on the African continent.
Pope Francis has previously visited Kenya, Uganda, Central
African Republic, Egypt, and Morocco.
With his 31st Apostolic Journey, taking place on 4-10
September, the Pope will add three more nations to the list: Mozambique,
Madagascar, and Mauritius.
