Pope names Special Envoy for FABC Plenary Assembly
(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis
has named Cardinal Telesphore Placidus Toppo, Archbishop of Ranchi, India, as
his Special Envoy to the XI Plenary Assembly of the Federation of Asian
Bishops’ Conferences, taking place from 28 November – 4 December in Colombo,
Sri Lanka.
The theme for the Plenary
Assembly is “Joy of the Gospel and the Family in Asia in the Light of the
Synod.”
